The Bhagavan who caresses the breast of young ladies

The following extract is taken from the malayalam translation of 'Rationalism' written by the eminent rationalist thinker A.T Kovoor(Translation by Johnson Eyeroor).As it is a translation of a translation , there may be certain changes from the original(I haven't read the original).Please bear with me.
"Two young ladies of about 30 years of age belonging to the Baba group(desciples of Satya Sai Baba of India) of SriLanka had got the 'luck' to have 'secret blessings from the incarnation of God' in his private room at Puttaparthi in Andhrapradesh in India.
While returning back to SriLanka they stayed briefly at a hotel( Asokabhavan) in Thrissinappally. When the male members had gone for shopping , the two young ladies shared the experiences they had with the God.
A journalist from SriLanka who happened to be in the adjoining room overheard a few of their conversations .It was as follows:
One lady: Have you noticed how handsome the Bhagavan (God) is?
Other lady: We two are really lucky.We have got the rare opportunity to be in communion with the Bhagavan.
Firstone: On the second day Bhagavan had caressed my boobs with ahes! With that holy hands.

Another DOUBT

A few points which need to be answered :
The Gods in Hindu mythology re-incarnate (partly or fully)themselves to save the people from evils,whereas the Christian God sends his son to save the world and the Muslim God not beleiving in such tactics picks his representatives from among his followers.
Why is it so?
Somany in the world believe that with whatever name He is called there is only one God. They need to answer it.

About Prayer meetings

It is the season of mass prayer meetings in Kerala in India. Yesterday I saw an advertisement : 'witness the overflow of soul in the capital city'. I have a doubt;is soul something like water to overflow?
It has already been proved that in such meetings the loud prayers,earbreking music etc put the people in a state of hypnosis and create mass hysteria.It has no power to heal any disease.
If prayer had the ability to heal diseases then there would not be any hospitals or doctors in the world.Do anyone have the courage to heal the wounds of an accident victim by simply praying?
No is the answer.
It is a kind business.

Another example for opportunism.

The Hindu reports that Mr.Narendra Modi, the Gujarat chief minister has welcomed the controversial Bangladeshi writer Ms.Taslima Nasreen to stay in Gujarat.He further added that Gujarat stood for peace and security and was known for safety for women and protection of their prestige.The government will ensure her full protection and she can carry on with her writing and is free to criticise even him!
In order to complete the story we need to go a little backwards up to 2002.It was under his blessings that the Hindu fundamentalists in Gujarat rioted,raped and killed the innocent muslims.It was then highlighted as a natural hindu retaliation to the Godhra train carnage.
The investigations later proved that the accident in the train was manipulated under the guidance of Mr.Modi to obtain political mileage in the assembly elections in the state which he won.
Where was Mr. Modi when his brigades were rampaging on the hapless muslims then? Was he inthe forefront to protect the chastity of women?
No, he was masterminding the riots.
Here is another election round the corner.He is trying to milk the secular people using the writer.
The muslim radicals are giving him a chance.
Is there no chance of escaping this vicious cycle?

Godman Part II

AS I was away from home on most occasions in connection with my studies then, I could not visit him and find out the reality. Moreover I was a teenager then who was not at all sure about anything.
Days and months passed.
Oneday when the devotees arrived for blessings there was no one in the ASRAM.The same thing happened in the following days too. And gradually they gave up hope and they no longer came there.
After a month or so the wife and children of the Swamin returned and started living there as if nothing had happened.Though the neighbours approached her and asked about her husband she didn't give any convincing answer.
But gradually it was disclosed that he had gone to AbuDhabi in search of job.
It was to collect the money needed for his travel that he was pretending as a seer(sannyasin).
Anyway I think he is a good man. Unlike many other Godmen who are cheating the devotees continuously, He acted only upto the fulfilment of his desire.

A GODMAN

THIS HAPPENED IN MY NEIGHBOUHOOD A FEW YEARS BACK. THERE WAS A MAN NAMED ANANDAN LIVED A FEW HUNDRED METRES AWAY FROM MY HOME WITH HIS WIFE AND TWO CHILDREN. AS MANY OTHERS THERE IN MY VILLAGE HE WAS ALSO DOING SOME MANUAL WORK TO RAISE HIS FAMILY.
ONEDAY SUDDENLY PEOPLE FROM OTHER PARTS OF MY VILLAGE AND FROM THE NEIGHBOURING VILLAGES STARTED TO VISIT HIS HUTMENT AND BEGAN TO WORSHIP HIM. FROM THEM I KNEW THAT HE HAD BECOME A GOD-MAN.HE HAD VISITED THE VAIKUNDA THE RESIDENCE OF MAHAVISHNU, ONE OF THE THREE SUPREME GODS OF INDIAN MYTHOLOGY AND RETURNED WITH SUPERNATURAL POWERS TO HEAL ILLNESS.
WHEN DAYS PASSED THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE VISITING HIM INCREASED WITH CLAIMS OF MAGICAL CURES.(to be continued.....)

Shame(LAJJA)

UNPA, an opportunistic umbrella organisation for some regional parties, has demanded the outster of Ms. Taslima Nazreen , the famous Bangladesh writer, from India.They say the muslims in India are opposing her stay in India(I have many muslim friends who do not share this opinion).Ms.Taslima Nazreen is in exile from her country and living as a refugee in India. Her request for Indian citizenship hasn't been considered favourably so far.
And what is her crime?
She highlighted the pathetic condition of her sisters through her books.As a muslim born in Bangladesh she is more eligible than anyother in the world to do so.
As I have already noted in one of my earlier posts, the fundamentalists fear any kind of discussion on their superstitions and try to suppress it by generating fear by various means.
But it is a shame on a political organisation which has 'progressive' in its name to behave as a mouth-piece of such militant outfits.

SILENT VALLEY

ARISE! AND BE BRAVE

All of you have already read in newspapers or watched in TV about the serial bomb blasts that ripped through the three cities in Uttarpradesh in India killing many.Though the police suspects the Pakistan based J-e-M for the act , another terrorist outfit ' Indian Mujahiddin" claimed the responsibility. Anyway that doesn't make any difference to the innocent victims.
The point is what make the terrorists do such atrocities against the innocent all over the world-to prove that they are right or they are superior or their beliefs are right or to bring the whole world under the RELIGION they believe is the real one?
These acts should jolt all the sane men from their slumber. They should condemn these activities.
But we saw no such action.Is the world is devoid of sane persons?
Or are they fearing them?
But we should remember this simple proverb: ' A stitch in time saves nine'
The fundamentalists fear discussion. They need silence from those opposing their ideas.
They are living in imaginary mansions of superstitions. Once discussed they start to shatter and wither away. So they are fearing any kind of discussion on their blind beliefs.
So make use of their fear. Start a discussion on evrything you believe is superstitious.
If we fail to do it now , we may not get another chance.

to those who spread superstitions

A simple question to the masters who believe and preach that they can heal diseases by simply praying:

Can you make grow atleast an inch a finger that is cut , by praying?

TODAYS TOPIC

In certain temples in Kerala the men are not allowed to enter wearing shirts or anything like that.They are of the view that there is a certain point in our chest which is very sacred and the GOD's blessings need to fall there(All over the world it is believed that the GOD's blessings reach the devotees in the form of light rays).
But the funny thing is that women are allowed to enter them wearing all kinds of dresses.
May be they are not good enough to receive God's blessigs.

THOUGH IN A STATE OF DANGER OF BECOMING A DESERT BY MAN'S ATROCITIES THE MOTHER NATURE ALWAYS DISPLAYS HER BEAUTIES TO A LOVER OF NATURE WITH THE LIMITED RESOURCES LEFT IN HER.

A VIEW OF ATTAPPADI

Attappadi was once the thickest rain forest in Kerala in India which was destroyed by man's greed.It's a scene after the monsoon rain and will change for worse once it is summer.

Attappadi Hill Area Development Society(AHADS) is said to be doing a good job to regain a few of Nature's beauties.

TODAYS TOPIC TO THINK OVER

If the GOD is so serious in keeping our family values, why didn't HE create atleast one more couple with Adam&Eve who had only one surviving progeny(the other was deceased by his own brother) to multiply? Was he a hydra-like organism which has the capacity to multiply from the buds on its body or an amoeba which can split and multiply?

A DOUBT

I have a doubt. We generally don't believe that something is true unless it is scientifically proved beyond doubt. Then why do we believe the texts which were rendered when the earth was flat, it was the centre of the universe and it was in between the heaven and the hell?

A TRIP BREAK

Sincerest apolologies for no posts for the last two days. Please bear with me.
I was on a nature study trip to SILENT VALLEY , one of the two ecological hot spots in India. I think I can post a few things about it later with a few pics.I am a bit busy now and so more later......

My Topic of DISCUSSION

It is only a few days back that I learned that in order to establish as a genuine blogger one needs to stick to a particular subject. I thought over it again and again and found a subject of my liking: RATIONALISM. As a secularist I think most the problems the human society faces today come out from FUNDAMENTALISM&RADICALISM. The healthy existance of human life on this plannet depends highly on how we overcome such thoughts. In order to achieve that I think we need to talk about it.Hence it is high time that we started at least a discussion on it. I appreciate all kinds of responses to my thoughts.

A bitter Experience of a blogger

This is my second stint as a blogger. Usually you want me to tell you what the hell happened to my first attempt and I am to tell . In one of my Postings I mentioned the name of the most powerful ruler of Hasthinapuri whose only intention is to give freedom to all the people of the world from DICTATORS. And what happened next? My blog has been hacked( What an example for the exercise of the freedom of speech which is the backbone of DEMOCRACY!). It is that simple and I was denied the access to my blogs.
But I think they are still living in the middieval period to believe that they can prevent one from expressing one's views by such means. We have thousand and one ways to share our ideas now.
So I am here again to share my thoughts and views.
